On June 16, Madrija held its annual Team Building event in Daimiel (Ciudad Real).

The day began with a walk through Las Tablas de Daimiel, a wetland that is practically unique in Europe and the last remaining example of the ecosystem known as “tablas fluviales” (river tables), once characteristic of the central plain of the Iberian Peninsula. It is a complex ecosystem that combines the features of a floodplain — created by the overflow of the Guadiana and Gigüela rivers at their confluence — with those of a groundwater discharge area fed by a large aquifer. Against this incomparable backdrop, our CEO outlined the goals for 2023 and took stock of the projects we are currently working on.

Afterward, the whole team shared a meal and enjoyed team-building activities where their competitive spirit came through loud and clear with Bubble Balls, human bowling, team skis, and a tower-building challenge.
