As part of Digital Enterprise Show 2025, we had the privilege of attending an inspiring talk given by Juan Pedro de Ruz Ortega, Director General of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence at the Castilla-La Mancha regional government (JCCM), and Carmen Prada Caballero, Director of Cloud Platform at IBM.
Both experts shared their vision on how combining a distributed cloud architecture with artificial intelligence technologies can profoundly transform the way public administrations deliver services to citizens.
Technology in the service of people
The session covered everything from modernizing digital infrastructure to applying AI to deliver faster, more secure, and more personalized public services. Real-world cases and concrete examples showed how these tools can improve both institutions’ internal efficiency and the citizen experience.
Beyond the technology, the message was clear: innovation has an essential human component. It’s not just about digitalizing processes, but about putting people first and making public administration more accessible and useful.
A shared vision
At Madrija we fully share this vision: we believe in the power of technology as a driver of social transformation, and in the need to build digital solutions that serve the common good. We applaud initiatives like this one, which drive change through collaboration between the public sector, the technology industry, and citizens.
