Madrija took part in the Artificial Intelligence Forum held in Toledo and stood out as a national benchmark in integrating AI into healthcare. Its Enigma solution, designed for cardiac patients, was recognized by experts as an example of the positive impact innovation can have on public health. This achievement, backed by a strong commitment to local talent, places the region on the path to technological transformation.
At the Artificial Intelligence Forum organized by El Español and held in the centuries-old Church of San Sebastián in Toledo, Madrija stood out as one of the leading companies in applying artificial intelligence to healthcare. Its Enigma technology solution, designed to improve care for cardiac patients, was recognized as an example of transformative innovation by Teudiselo Díaz, territorial director of Telefónica. During his remarks, Díaz noted that tools like Enigma should serve as a reference for the widespread integration of AI in healthcare, improving diagnostics and optimizing resources.
“Enigma cannot be an isolated case,” Díaz stated, emphasizing the need for these solutions to become widespread in order to provide better service to citizens. According to the executive, artificial intelligence applied to health represents a transformative shift that speeds up healthcare work and saves lives.
For his part, Ismael Moreno, CEO of Madrija, reinforced this view, stressing that collaboration between technology companies and public administrations is key to advancing toward a more efficient and sustainable healthcare system. “Algorithms need to be trained on data that, for the most part, only public administrations hold. Without cooperation, we cannot build technological structures that truly make a difference,” Moreno stated.
The CEO also issued a public challenge to the director of the Digital Transformation Agency, Juan Ángel Morejudo, who was present at the event: “When will we see the Healthcare CRID (Regional Digital Innovation Center)? At Madrija we are ready to collaborate, but it is essential that the region opens up its data so that Castilla-La Mancha can lead the way at the forefront of AI technology”.
