There has never been a day quite as special in MADRIJA’s history as Thursday, April 24th. The evocative Quinta de Amando dressed up to host a celebration that was much more than an anniversary: it was a reunion with our essence, a collective embrace of ten years of dreams come true. An afternoon and evening of conversation in the magnificent courtyard overlooking Toledo’s skyline. With hugs and more than one toast that tasted of victory, we celebrated our first decade. Because birthdays, when shared with the people who made them possible, become something extraordinary.
From a Toledo dream to a reality that crosses borders
Our CEO, Ismael Moreno, found the perfect words to define this journey: “To be an entrepreneur is to keep going when others give up”. And how true that is. We kept going when we were just an idea in a small office in Toledo in 2015. We kept going when the challenges seemed impossible. Today we look back and see:
• ENIGMA CIS, our pride and joy, helping save lives in 52 hospitals across Europe.
• The CLM Tourism Platform, revolutionizing how our region is experienced and enjoyed.
• Educational projects that are transforming classrooms and the way people learn.
• A team where 85% trained in Castilla-La Mancha, because we believe in the talent of our land.
“We celebrate windmills turned into success stories, but above all the people who make them possible”, said Ismael with the kind of emotion that only comes from looking into the eyes of those who have been with you from the start. To Alejandro Escario, our CTO, and María Gigante, our CFO, his companions on this journey, through its battles and its triumphs.
A major recognition
Juan Alfonso Ruiz Molina, Regional Minister for Finance, Public Administration and Digital Transformation, emphasized that “MADRIJA is the mirror in which to see the technological evolution of our region”.
His words reminded us why we do what we do:

The event was not only about looking back, but also about looking ahead. And what a future it is. We unveiled for the first time:
- NeuronIA: Taking ENIGMA further, into the fascinating field of neurology.
- The Biodiversity Library: The first Spanish AI dedicated to protecting and studying our nature.
