From October 26 to 28, Málaga hosts the Congress of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, SEC23, which takes a comprehensive, patient-centered, and multidisciplinary approach to a full program on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
This event brings together cardiologists, family and primary care physicians, internists, nurses, technicians, researchers, and more, who will discuss the latest advances in cardiology. Innovation is another key focus, with technology companies such as Madrija, among others, taking part.
In numbers, the SEC Congress brings together close to 4,000 professionals, 231 educational sessions, 1,293 presentations, 16 countries represented, and 418 speakers and moderators.
Some of the interactive talks focus on cardio-metabolic risk cases or the treatment of valvular disease. Among the symposia, artificial intelligence and the latest developments in clinical practice stand out. Other highlighted topics include vascular risk in women and the management of asymptomatic atrial fibrillation.
