The technology company born in Castilla-La Mancha, headquartered in Toledo with offices in Ciudad Real, Talavera, Madrid, Seville, Barcelona, and Switzerland, begins 2025 with solid growth, greater international expansion, and the consolidation of ENIGMA CIS as a benchmark in digital health. At the annual kickoff meeting, all project managers and executives took stock of the past year and set objectives for the current one.
After an extraordinary 2024, in which revenue grew 46%, far exceeding the 18% forecast, the company maintains its ambitious outlook. Although EBITDA was lower due to a year of heavy R&D investment, this strategic effort is expected to translate into a notable increase in net profit by the end of the current fiscal year. As Madrija’s CEO explained at the close of a day featuring 14 presentations, “the main focus is on increasing EBITDA, driven by the rollout of ENIGMA CIS in more than 100 hospitals across Europe”. This expansion will also mean growing the workforce past the hundred-employee mark, with a young, highly qualified team whose average age is around 31.
From Castilla-La Mancha to the world: solid roots for global reach
Born in Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city and a symbol of creativity and innovation throughout history, MADRIJA has managed to combine its roots in Castilla-La Mancha with a clear international outlook. Since its founding, the company has grown into a benchmark in digital health, radiology, tourism, education, and technological innovation, carrying its stamp to countries such as France and Switzerland. This positioning has been key to forging strategic alliances with major players in the sector, consolidating its prestige, solvency, and reliability as a leading technology provider.
In 2025, one of the most important milestones will be the signing of major agreements with private healthcare providers, enabling wider adoption of ENIGMA CIS as a comprehensive clinical management system. Added to this is the commitment to innovation in telemonitoring and digital health, with the development of a new onco-cardiology module, which will support continuity of care for oncology patients with cardiac conditions, improving the quality of monitoring and treatment.
An innovative company that invests in people
But Madrija is not just a technology company; it is a community of talent that puts people at its center. With a young, dynamic team, the company fosters team building, work-life balance, and internal career growth, ensuring an environment where professionals can grow and develop without giving up their quality of life.
MADRIJA’s philosophy rests on three fundamental pillars: sport, culture, and innovation. Its connection to sport reflects its commitment to health and wellbeing, while its investment in culture and the arts reflects its vision of creativity as a driver of progress. Toledo, with its history and artistic legacy, is the perfect place to build this identity, combining respect for heritage with ambition for the future.
A decade of success and a promising future
In April 2025, MADRIJA will celebrate its tenth anniversary, a milestone that reflects a decade of effort, growth, and consolidation in the technology sector. Ten years in which it has gone from being a startup in Castilla-La Mancha to becoming a key player in the digital transformation of health and other strategic sectors.
With sustained growth, a strong commitment to innovation, and a team ready to take on new challenges, MADRIJA faces the future with the same vision it was founded on: turning technology into real solutions that improve people’s lives.
