The Association of Families of Children and Adolescents with Cancer of Castilla-La Mancha is holding its traditional charity gala dinner on April 12th at Finca los Lavaderos de Rojas, an event that had to be suspended due to the pandemic and which this year includes the “Social Recognition Awards” of Afanion in Toledo.
The president of Afanion, Juan García Gualda, and other members of the association’s Board of Directors will present these awards, being given for the first time by the Association.
Afanion Social Recognition Awards in Toledo
The awards will include five categories: the first for the institution, entity, NGO, or association that has stood out for its social awareness during 2023. The second for the person or group of people from the province of Toledo who stand out for their long track record and dedicated commitment to Afanion.
Similarly, the third award of the night will be dedicated to the program, article, or communication project — whether on radio, television, print, or digital press — that has contributed to raising awareness about childhood cancer.
In addition, the second-to-last award of the night will go to a company that has made a significant contribution to promoting Afanion, while the final award will go to the public administration body or group that has stood out for its support of Afanion.
This event aims to raise funds for the various programs and services this Association provides to children and adolescents with cancer and their families in the region.
